1. Design Research
Our team identified key pain points in existing dash cam: cumbersome designs, complicated installation, and poor integration with vehicle interiors. We discovered users needed more than just a recording device - they wanted an intelligent companion that seamlessly blended with their car's aesthetic while offering simple operation.
2. Industrial Design
We abandoned the complex lines shapes of traditional products in favor of clean, geometric forms. The design emphasized unity and simplicity, eliminating unnecessary visual elements. Careful selection of materials and surface treatments created a premium, technologically refined product that resembled an original car accessory rather than an aftermarket device.
3. Mechanical Structure Design
Our engineering team focused on compactness and stability. We optimized internal component layout for miniaturization and weight reduction. Innovative bracket and body connection mechanisms ensured reliability across various road conditions while simplifying installation and adjustment for users.
4. Prototyping and Testing
High-precision prototypes brought our concepts to life. Through multiple iterations of prototyping and testing, we refined CMF (Color, Material, Finish) choices and validated performance in real vehicle environments - testing installation, angle adjustment, heat dissipation, and overall stability.
