About LKK Design

In 2004, founder Jia Wei started LKK with just a 500 RMB monthly desk rental and a bold belief in China's potential for original, world-class design.

LKK won a landmark project with Samsung, designing the ticketing and inspection system for Beijing's Olympic subway. During this period, LKK also became the first Chinese design firm to win the world's three most prestigious design awards: Red Dot, iF, and IDEA.

In 2010, LKK Innovation Design Group was formally established, expanding from industrial design to include brand, interaction, and service design. The group was recognized as a National Industrial Design Centre in 2013.

LKK launched LKKER, a co-creation design platform, connecting over 40,000 professional designers. This platform produced iconic products like the iFLYTEK translator and the "Forbidden City Cat" cultural IP, each generating over one billion RMB in market value.

LKK partnered with DingTalk to launch LKKer Cloud Intelligence, integrating AI into the design process. AI-assisted design became a standard practice across their studios.

In 2024, LKK celebrated its 20th anniversary, launching the Category Innovation strategy and the "Five Product Values" framework, helping clients redefine product categories and build sustainable competitive advantages.
