The new treatment method uses power ultrasound to transmit ultrasonic waves from outside the body to a specific target area inside the patient.
The mechanical and thermal effects of the ultrasound produce biological effects in the tissue, helping reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension.

Guangci Medical partnered with Nanjing LKK Design to complete the exterior product design of the ultrasound hypertension treatment system.
Design Strategy
User Analysis
During the early stage of the project, extensive user research was conducted with medical professionals and patients.
The functional areas were clearly defined to maximize doctors’ diagnostic and treatment efficiency while reducing patients’ anxiety during medical care.
Design Concept
The product consists of three main parts: an electric treatment bed, an operating console, and a degassed water generator.
It features an advanced electronic control system and a rapid treatment method based on high-intensity focused ultrasound.
Human-machine interaction and functional performance were treated as the core design elements.
The operating area layout, interaction logic, and user habits of each module were carefully considered throughout the design process.
The goal was to help doctors work efficiently while making patients feel safe and reassured.
