M.Lot High-Frequency Skin Beauty Device Design
A Home Beauty Device Widely Recognized by Its Target Users
Innovation Insights

Project Background
Medicer has long focused on the research and development of medical beauty products.
As Medicer’s first home-use medical beauty device, this project aimed to create a friendly and approachable product featuring soft, rounded forms while retaining the professional characteristics associated with medical beauty equipment.
User Challenges
With the rapid development of the medical beauty industry, professional skincare and beauty treatments are gradually becoming part of consumers’ everyday home routines. As a result, people are paying greater attention to convenient and effective skin maintenance.
For a home beauty device to attract consumers and potentially become a benchmark product in its category, it must combine an innovative appearance, professional functionality, convenient operation, and an intuitive interactive experience.
Design Strategy

Product Strategy
As a medical beauty product, the device adopts a soft and rounded overall form.
This approachable design language creates a warmer visual impression, makes the product feel easier to use, and eliminates the bulky and unattractive appearance commonly associated with traditional professional equipment.
Convenience
The internal structure is positioned toward the front to make full use of the available interior space and reduce the overall product volume.
Its compact size allows the device to be conveniently used in different areas of the home.
The side of the device provides a dedicated storage area for the operating handpiece, making it easier to access, use, and store. This arrangement also maintains a cleaner and more unified overall appearance.

Interaction Design
An angled display is positioned on the front of the product, allowing users to view information and operate the device comfortably during treatment.
Three control buttons are located on the top. Their functions follow familiar user habits and intuitive operating logic, helping reduce the learning curve for first-time users.
Modular Design
The main device can be equipped with different types of treatment handpieces.
This modular system allows users to upgrade or expand the product’s functions without replacing the entire device, encouraging continued product upgrades while reducing additional purchasing costs.
The strategy creates value for both the brand and consumers.
💡 Solution
1. Warmth, Care and User-Friendly Operation
Through observation and analysis of the lifestyles and behaviors of home medical beauty users, the design team explored how the product could communicate warmth, care, and convenience.
The human-machine experience was also treated as an essential part of the design process, ensuring that the product was comfortable, intuitive, and suitable for everyday home use.
2. Collaborative Development and Market Recognition
Through close collaboration among the industrial design team, structural engineering team, user research team, and the client team, the home beauty device was successfully developed and launched.
Its simple design language, convenient handpiece storage, compact structure, and intuitive user experience received widespread recognition from its target users.
The final product successfully combined functionality, visual quality, and ease of use while supporting the continued upgrading of the home medical beauty market.
