User Requirements
In recent years, the company has been committed to launching a series of world-first OLED products that are healthy and safe, comfortable and natural, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, as well as technologically advanced and stylish.
Through its collaboration with LKK Design, the company aimed to create an OLED eye-care lamp designed specifically for babies.
Design Strategy
Product Strategy
The design focused on identifying lighting elements suitable for babies and home nursery environments.
Appropriate animal-inspired elements were selected to give the lamp a cute, safe, and interactive product character.
Particular attention was paid to the selection of materials for the product enclosure.
Multiple silicone covers were developed, allowing users to combine and change the exterior freely.
Optimization and Upgrade
The raised whale-tail form allows the lamp to be hooked onto a baby crib, nearby railings, or any other suitable hanging position.
The interior of the tail is made from a flexible material, allowing users to bend it into different angles.
The consistent form language emphasizes the product’s refined and distinctive character.

1. Baby-Grade OLED Eye-Care Lighting
The baby-grade OLED eye-care lamp uses the latest generation of OLED lighting technology to provide 100% healthy and eye-friendly illumination.
Its exterior structure is smooth and rounded, produces little heat, and contains no mercury or other heavy metals in the light source.
The lamp can provide auxiliary lighting for nighttime feeding, diaper changing, use beside a baby’s crib, elderly users getting up at night, and viewing a mobile phone in the evening.
2. Blue Whale-Inspired Form
The design imitates the form of a blue whale emerging from the water, creating a cuter, more refined, and minimalist appearance.
The milky-white translucent enclosure provides a delicate and smooth tactile experience.
Its overall softness creates a sensation similar to touching a baby’s skin.
