In 2021, Mitong Intelligent Technology (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd. established the Kidikiss brand, focusing on the happy and healthy development of children.
The name Kidikiss consists of “Kid-i-Kiss.” “Kid” represents the brand’s focus on children’s needs, “i” is an abbreviation of “intelligent” and represents smart connectivity, while “Kiss” stands for “Keep It Simple and Sweet.”
Market Demand
As technology continues to develop, baby and childcare products are gradually entering the intelligent era.
Traditional baby cribs are generally wooden beds with railings and offer relatively limited functions.
In 2021, Mitong Intelligent Technology partnered with LKK Design to jointly develop the KiDiKiSS smart electric baby cradle.
Design Strategy
Product Definition
During the initial product design stage, the smart electric baby cradle incorporated scientific theories related to the vestibular system of infants and young children.
By providing appropriate stimulation to the vestibular system, the product delivers sensations that can help babies feel comfortable while supporting sensory experiences that are important to early brain development.
Functional Development
Based on the development needs of the infant vestibular system, the smart electric baby cradle features motion-assisted soothing and sleep functions.
Parents can place the baby in the cradle and select the desired motion mode.
The product includes five motion modes: Ferris wheel, swing, trampoline, roller coaster, and spring bounce.
These modes are combined with five adjustable speed levels to meet the daily motion-soothing and sleep needs of infants and young children.

1. Comfort, Reassurance, and Intelligent Control
The KiDiKiSS baby cradle was designed around the concepts of care and reassurance.
Its varied and realistic rocking modes create a natural soothing experience similar to being comforted by a mother.
The device also includes a range of natural audio tracks to help babies sleep.
The motion modes and music volume can be adjusted directly through the controls on the product and can also be operated remotely through a Bluetooth-connected smartphone.
The height of the cradle can be adjusted to match the parents’ bed. One side of the protective mesh can also be removed, allowing the product to function as a bedside crib.
2. Rounded and Protective Form
The overall product form is rounded, friendly, and approachable.
The cradle section creates a strong sense of enclosure and protection.
Both sides adopt an open structure, while the guardrails can be removed or adjusted in height to meet different usage requirements.
The two sides of the base curve upward, creating the appearance of gently supporting and lifting the baby cradle.
The smooth curved lines soften the overall appearance and give the product a stronger sense of safety.
3. Breathable Mesh and Adjustable Base
The mesh panels on both sides provide high ventilation and can be removed conveniently.
Bright graffiti-style decorative details add vitality and make the product appear more playful.
Height-adjustment mechanisms are installed at all four corners of the base, allowing the cradle to adapt to a wider range of usage environments.
4. Product Interface and Mobile App Operation
The operating process was carefully considered according to how parents use the product in daily situations.
An operating interface is integrated into the cradle body, allowing users to control the product directly.
A smartphone app was also developed, enabling convenient and immediate remote operation.
