GOOGHI KIQI Skateboar
Light Movement and Flowing Youth
Innovation Insights

Project Background
The market for children’s outdoor sports is currently developing rapidly, with new forms of exercise continuing to emerge.
Skateboarding has become one of the most popular sports and social activities among Generation Z.
User Requirements
Most skateboards currently available on the market are designed for adults.
Because children and teenagers have different body sizes and physical characteristics, the client needed to develop a professional street skateboard better suited to younger users.
Design Strategy

Product Strategy
LKK Design created a younger and more personalized professional skateboard for KIQI, reflecting the individual style of Generation Z.
Starting from the user experience, the design considered that the main target users were children and teenagers.
Ergonomics and the force points involved in body movement were carefully analyzed to create a product that young users would enjoy while also meeting safety requirements.

Experience Optimization
To create a professional-grade skateboard more suitable for children, the product adopts a classic double-kick deck with a deep concave profile.
This structure increases flexibility and expands the contact area under the feet.
It helps children understand and control their force points more easily while performing different skateboarding movements.
💡 Solution
1. Colorful Illuminated Wheels
The colorful wheels light up as soon as the skateboard begins moving.
They create a more exciting visual effect during nighttime use while also improving the child’s visibility in low-light environments, making the activity safer.
2. Child-Specific Size and Anti-Slip Deck
The children’s version is 10% smaller than the teenage version, making it more suitable and comfortable for children from three years old.
Anti-slip grip tape is applied to the top surface of the skateboard to increase friction and improve safety during riding.
