Posture Corrector Exterior Design
Strengthening Children’s Emotional Connection and Encouraging Voluntary Use
Innovation Insights

Project Background
Against the broader trend of increasing health awareness, parents are paying greater attention not only to their own well-being but also to their children’s physical health.
They are also placing more importance on helping children develop healthy study habits.
User Requirements
Based on its understanding of the e-commerce market, Hexian proposed moving away from a training-based approach to education.
The product needed to be redesigned from the child’s perspective so that it would genuinely suit children’s needs and encourage them to use it willingly.
Design Strategy

Product Strategy
The design team and the client strongly agreed on the concept of guided education.
The design respected the product’s actual functional structure while approaching the project from an e-commerce perspective.
Both everyday product use and online product presentation were considered throughout the design process.

Design Concept
The design introduced the concept of a “Warm Hug.”
The restricting section of the posture corrector was cleverly transformed into the embracing arms of a small bear.
This design strengthens children’s emotional connection with the product and makes them more willing to use it.
💡 Solution
1. E-Commerce Visual Testing
After undergoing e-commerce visual testing, the product demonstrated strong potential to become a popular item.
It moved beyond price-based competition and received consistent recognition from the client.
2. Continued Client Collaboration
After the project was completed, the client remained in close contact with the design team and expressed interest in establishing a long-term partnership.
The client also commissioned additional design projects, which are currently progressing.
