LKK Design collaborated with 55 Degree to create a younger and more portable drinking cup.
Through a cute and interesting form, together with a rich selection of colors, the project aimed to provide users with more diverse cup design options.
Experience Optimization
The product design was inspired by the cute Japanese white-eye bird.
The circular openings on the lid represent the position of the bird’s eyes.
From an ergonomic perspective, the cup features a thoughtfully designed cutout carrying ring and a curved body that fits naturally in the palm, providing users with a more comfortable experience.

1. Soft and Skin-Friendly Carrying Ring
The ring opening has a soft tactile finish and adopts a distinctive angled-cut design.
Its soft and skin-friendly surface makes the cup more comfortable to hold and carry.
2. Ergonomic Drinking Opening
The drinking opening adopts a human-centered curved design that fits naturally against the lips.
When users are walking or driving, the shape provides a degree of positioning assistance for a more convenient drinking experience.
