Project Background

Gosuncn Technology is an intelligent Internet of Things company committed to becoming a globally leading provider of smart city IoT products and services.

LKK Design provided the exterior and industrial design services for the Qianxun M2 inspection robot.

The project aimed to create a distinctive product image that reflects the company’s technological capabilities while improving the robot’s recognition and competitiveness in the intelligent inspection market.

User Requirements

With the rapid development of the robotics industry, product homogenization has become increasingly apparent.

Many inspection robots on the market share similar structures, functions, and visual characteristics, making it difficult for users to distinguish products from different companies.

The client therefore needed a unique and recognizable product identity that could help the Qianxun M2 stand out from competing inspection robots.

The product also needed to communicate professionalism, intelligence, flexibility, and reliability while meeting the practical requirements of automated security and equipment inspection.

Design Strategy

The Qianxun M2 adopts a minimalist and highly integrated exterior design.

Its clean overall form reduces unnecessary visual complexity and gives the robot a more professional and technology-oriented appearance.

A distinctive humanoid design creates a friendlier and more recognizable product image.

Its compact body allows it to move flexibly through different environments and provide efficient robotic inspection and security services.

By combining an integrated structure with a unique character, the product establishes a clear visual identity in the patrol and inspection robot market.

Experience Optimization

In terms of functionality, the Qianxun M2 combines AI-powered image recognition algorithms with environmental perception and monitoring technologies.

These capabilities enable the robot to perform inspection tasks carefully and consistently, making abnormalities in equipment and surrounding environments easier to identify.

The robot can continuously collect, analyze, and report inspection data, reducing dependence on manual patrols while improving inspection accuracy and efficiency.

1. Intelligent Recognition and Environmental Monitoring

The robot can recognize equipment status lights, analog gauges, digital meters, LCD panels, QR codes, and foreign objects on the ground.

These recognition functions allow it to inspect different types of industrial equipment and identify potential operating abnormalities.

The Qianxun M2 can also collect temperature and humidity data and generate visual heat maps, helping operators understand environmental changes across different areas.

Additional functions include PM2.5 monitoring and very-early-stage fire detection.

By combining equipment recognition with environmental monitoring, the robot provides a more comprehensive inspection solution for industrial facilities, commercial environments, and smart city applications.

2. High-Speed Lifting Platform

The robot is equipped with an independently developed high-speed lifting platform.

The platform can extend to a height of 1.8 meters, allowing cameras and sensors to inspect equipment, displays, and environmental conditions at different vertical positions.

The lifting system provides strong load capacity, low operating noise, fast movement, and stable performance with minimal vibration.

These characteristics improve the accuracy of image collection and environmental monitoring while enabling the robot to complete inspection tasks more efficiently.

The adjustable platform also expands the robot’s range of applications and allows it to adapt to inspection points at different heights.
