AUPU, the pioneer of bathroom heaters in China, faced increasing market challenges as product homogenization grew severe. With a distribution model primarily relying on offline dealers, AUPU's product development had become disconnected from user needs. Seeking to regain innovation leadership through user-driven design, AUPU partnered with LKK Design to redefine the bathroom heating experience.

Through targeted user screening and in-home interviews, our team identified key pain points:

  • Users expressed strong dissatisfaction with direct air blowing from traditional bathroom heaters

  • Existing products failed to integrate with modern bathroom aesthetics

  • The outdated appearance conflicted with users' taste preferences

Industrial Design
LKK Design developed the "Thermal Ring Bathroom Heater" concept:

  • 360° heating technology: Utilizing AUPU's mature circular heating technology to eliminate direct blowing

  • Minimalist aesthetic: Hidden vents and streamlined panels create seamless integration with bathroom environments

  • Enhanced lighting: Circular light design provides wider, softer illumination without glare

Mechanical Structure Design
