Project Background:

Muscle soreness and joint stiffness are inevitable after remaining in the same posture for a long time or repeated actions, one may get hand cramps after using the mouse for a long time. If we want to design a true comfortable mouse in the market, we have to create a mouse with different using ways rather than focus on the shape of mouse only.

Highlights and Solutions of Project:

1. Project management team found out the sense of damping of thumb wheel is not strong enough. How to strengthen the sense of damping while to achieve the feasibility of mass production? We decided to add another special leather between thumb wheel and slider for enhancing users experience.

2. Air mouse with foldable function that cause the flexible winding which connects the PCBA in two sides of mouse is easy to broke. How to solve this problem? We have changed the material of flexible winding from FDC into customized FPC for increasing the service life of air mouse.

Project Information:

Air Mouse – a foldable multi-functional controller integrating mouse and wireless presenter with laser pointer. Users can switch to the air operation mode by folding. The product is preferable for business travelers, comes with various functions like inductive touch roller, electronic pointer PPT flip pen, plug-in hard disk, mobile phone USB, lithium battery charging and other optional features.

Background

Although there are many projectors on the market, the customer learned that a dedicated projector for businessman is still a gap. The customer came to LKKER SCM with the expectation to develop a projector that matches the style of businessman and is easy to carry. In the end, HOYOTOP teamed up with LKKER SCM and delivered a business projector that can boot in three seconds and go in sleep mode with one key.

Conducted in-depth analysis of the characteristics of businessman and came up with an effective product design concept via product strategy. Located the biggest pain point of the product through research and analysis of the system; made the projector as compact and practical as possible with the existing hardware parts. Carried out the exterior style design, taking into account the projector’s brand attributes, industry attributes, and later maintenance and adjustment.

Solutions & Goal

1.HOYOTOP Business Projector adopts soft minimalism to shape the exclusive products of businessman with simple modeling language;

2.In the 19th century, the famous American architect Louis Sullivan once said that “function is not only technology, but also the embodiment of emotions”. Good design doesn’t require the users to think about how to operate. The user-friendly simple keys let you appreciate minimalist design and extraordinary experience. The 90-degree rotatable lens mount can be used to shield the lens when not in use or as a stand when in use.

3.The boss key is enlarged and placed on the front of the product to solve the problem of efficient office work. It also allows the power-saving sleep mode with one key.

Achievements

The business projector developed by LKKER SCM team for HOYOTOP has been put on the market and raised significant amount of funds in JD Equity Crowdfunding platform. The 90-degree rotatable support frame is an unconventional design point in the industry, and it is also well received by users.

Background

Mobile phones have become indispensable products for everyone. We use mobile phones to consume, play and browse where network is necessary. However, the limited data plans and high charges make us on tenterhooks. TP-link MiFi is a small wifi transmitter that can easily fit in our pockets and have free wifi all along the way.

When designing, we fully considered the shape of the product when it was used. We do not expect that the users only use it as a device, but as a part of their styling. Therefore, we design in certain fashionable temperament with greater texture to make it so natural and comfortable that users can hardly tear themselves away from it.

Solutions & Goal

1.The pebble-shaped design is used for extension so that consumers can play it in their hands, which is consistent with the positioning of convenient travel of MiFi.

2.The combination of different materials and colors are adopted to create a fashion sense.

3.The body has a slanted split to make the whole product more dynamic.

The TP-link MiFi wireless router creates a new lifestyle and subverts the feelings of traditional products to consumers. It injects fashion and emotion into the product, making it irresistible.

Project Background:

As we know, Singapore as a tourism city, attracting 50 millions people to visit every year. Tourists need a portable Wi-Fi to google tourist attractions, restaurants and hotels instead of buying the expensive local SIM card. DATAPRO is a Singapore startup – deciding to develop a portable 4G Wi-Fi router with APP function can book hotels, restaurants and etc in advance, and making travelling to be easier in Singapore with power bank function. But as a startup, DATAPRO lack resources to manage the whole project. They need a professional project management team to control the quality, cost and time of the project.

Highlights and Solutions of Project:

1. As there are different opinions from client team, client add new demands which are adding Wi-Fi signal indicator lightand battery indicator in product just after we delivered all the design files to the factory, and product certification is on progrees. For achieving the demands of client, LKKER SCM project management team had an emergency meeting and decided to modify the tooling to provide enough space for the indicator light, while ensure make as less as changes as possible for cost and time. Finally, we delivered the products on time.

2. From design to manufacturing, LKKER SCM provides many effective optimization programs to achieve an better product. For example, suggesting to choose lithium polymer battery instead of 18650 battery to make the product smaller and easy to carry; And using UV to treat the surface for increasing the texture of the appearance of products; Testing the charger cables life span over 1000 times plug in-out to select best cables with limited budget. Finally delivered products on time by excellent project management, high quality control and effective production control.

Project Information:

DATAPRO Wi-Fi Router (MIFI) is slim and portable, with 4G LTE 9207 module, supporting global 4G frequency. Based on the secondary development of android system, MIFI can be compatible with all phone, tablet and etc., 10 devices can be connected at the same time, offering high speed and safe internet service anywhere and anytime. LKKER SCM provided excellent ID, MD and project management services and developed the software SIM management cloud system and hardware, mass production, certification applying for MIFI.

Most people who in stock, design and finance fields always need more than one laptop to work. After the discussion between LKKER SCM engineers and client, the project management team decided to optimize the design of PCBA, after re-design, and one month testing and validation, this problem has been solved successfully.

Third, the way of attaching Duex Pro to laptop is magnets. In the beginning, Mobile Pixels Duex Pro separate from the back of laptop easily due to the adhesiveness of magnets are not strong enough. LKKER SCM did over 200 times reliability tests found the most suitable material to attach magnets to laptops.
